Common Ground
In 2016, Make Art Work participated in Common Ground, a nationwide project that asked the question: In a divided America, is it possible to find common ground? Artists and makers in five cities were asked to create kinetic installations with a common thread, inspired by their region and important contemporary issues in their community. All participants worked with each other to connect their pieces through common communication mediums like texts, emails, and phone calls.
